Al Meszaros serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager in the firm’s Cleveland office. Extensive experience in risk assessment and the desire to see clients succeed are what makes Al a trusted portfolio manager. In past roles, Al had advised institutions, mutual funds and pension fund managers on individual stocks, now bringing that skill to Carnegie clients. Al is a Chartered Financial Analyst® registered with the CFA Institute.
Prior to joining Carnegie, Al was a founding Partner at Midwest Investment Management in 2000, which became part of Carnegie in 2017. His previous experience includes positions as a Research Analyst for a national investment firm and Trust Officer for a major regional bank.
Al serves on the Carnegie Investment Committee. He also holds positions on the Investment Committees at Benedictine High School, Beaumont School and St. Andrews Abbey.
Al earned his Bachelor of Arts from Cleveland State University and an Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University. He is past President of the Cleveland Hungarian Heritage Society, past President of St. Margaret Credit Union and served on the United Way Allocations Committee. Outside of work, Al and his wife Andrea enjoy their many grandchildren, Chautauqua Lake and travel.
